Pastor Paul is a LCMS pastor that had previously served for Voice of Care as Ministry Facilitator for the Indiana and Northern. Illinois Districts. His wife Julie who. was the Principal at St. John Lutheran School in Indianapolis has now taken the position as the membership director for Lutheran Education Association (LEA) based in River Forest, IL. Paul and Julie have been married for over 39 years. Paul previously served at Living Christ Lutheran Church, Arlington Heights (16 years) where he served as a parish pastor, and he has served as an associate pastor at St. Peter Lutheran Church and School, Arlington Heights, Illinois, where for seven years specializing in Senior Care and Special Needs. While in Northern Illinois, Paul also served as a chaplain to individuals in nursing homes, hospitals, and disability centers, representing the ministry of Voice of Care and local churches. Paul holds a Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, and a Bachelor of Arts in Lutheran Elementary Education and Director of Christian Education training from Concordia University Chicago in River Forest, Illinois. He and Julie have two grown children: Philip Klopke, a Director of Christian Education, and Jillian Hewitt, a Registered Nurse and now a full-time mom.. Both are married and Philip and his wife Kyrie live in Nashville, Tennessee and Jillian and her husband Matthew Hewitt live in St. Louis MO.
