Martin McMamamon, Wayne Township Highway Commissioner, has served the residents of Bartlett, Carol Stream, Hanover Park, St. Charles, Wayne, and West Chicago – the communities and unincorporated areas of Wayne Township, for the past twelve years. His top accomplishments among many include new methods of road building and de-icing that save tax-payer dollars while being environmentally responsible, obtaining the goal of having the lowest per-mile cost for road maintenance in DuPage County, and completing long-awaited projects such as the school crossing at Schick and Carriage Rds. near Bartlett High School and the Fair Oaks and Schick Bike Paths.
