Do You Have Condensation On Your Windows? Adam Kern, Owner Official Heating & Cooling Most people are familiar with condensation on the inside of their win- dows in the winter. This is due to excess indoor humidity. But why does condensation occur in the summer? During the cooling season, window condensation can be found on the outside of the glass. This usually is seen in the early morning hours prior to the sunrise. The reason for this is just the opposite of winter condensation. The interior glass is cooler than the outside which results in the formation of dew. As soon as the sun hits the glass, the condensation willl dissipate. You can not have summer condensation if the A/C is not running. This type of situation is not indicative of a problem with the equipment or the window. It is just one of those weather related phenomenons. If you have any HVAC questions, call 800-350-HVAC (4822) or email adam@officialhvac.com Bella says: Aeroseal seals ducts from the inside!
