TOP TEN EXTRAORDINARY FACTS ABOUT COLLEGE OF LAKE COUNTY {#10 } OUR PROMISE PROGRAM OFFERS FREE TUITION AND EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT The Promise Program at College of Lake County supports recent high school graduates who thought college may be an impossible dream due to lack of finances. Students who meet our program requirements will graduate from CLC as close to debt-free as possible. Each participant is matched with a Promise Coach who provides support on a regular basis. This allows students to complete a degree or certificate program in two years, enabling them to transfer to a fouryear college or enter the workforce immediately upon graduation. Our Promise Program also emphasizes the development of career and leadership skills, helping participants positively impact their personal and professional communities. Promise participant and Grant Community High School graduate Chantal Moody states, "My long-term goal is to be a successful actress, both on Broadway and on-screen, by the time Im 32 Mary PHaynes, Promise Coach, who works with Chantal on a monthly basis, will help her work toward her goals.'1enjoy meeting with my academic coach."
