Comprehensive Resources for a Complex Disorder
Autism spectrum and developmental disorders (including Asperger’s syndrome) pose unique challenges not only for the people who live with them, but for their families as well. It’s often difficult to diagnose these disorders, and even more difficult and confusing to locate nearby treatment services that meet all of a patient’s complex needs. AMITA Health offers a one-stop center, the Autism Spectrum & Developmental Disorders Resource Center, where an expert team of clinicians works with individuals and families to help assess their needs and connect with vital services. We also collaborate closely with developmental pediatricians and neurologists at the AMITA Health Neurosciences Institute Center for Pediatric Brain.
