I have a passion for empowering students to achieve acceptance to their ideal colleges. I started this group to share the knowledge and expertise I have amassed throughout my career as a college essay and application consultant. I am an ACT/SAT tutor and college essay writing and editing specialist. I hold an undergraduate degree in psychology from Duke University and an MBA with an emphasis in marketing from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management. I served as a member of the Admissions Committee during my two years at Northwestern, so I understand the components of an effective application from an "insider's" perspective. I also have a professional background in advertising, marketing, and writing. I enjoy getting to know students, helping them reflect on their interests, accomplishments, and goals, and guiding them to present compelling stories to admissions committees. I also provide ACT/SAT tutoring that I customize to the needs of each individual student with whom I work.
