I have been honored to contribute beauty and function to homes on Chicago’s North Shore, in Indiana, Wisconsin and California for more than thirty years. As a senior designer and general manager for Walter E. Smithe, I designed spaces for CEO’s, major sports players, and renowned universities. I was also part of the Orren Pickell Designers and Builders team, as a showroom manager and assistant to the CabinetWerks department. In 2010, I formed Catherine Schager Designs to fully share my depth of knowledge and experience with my clients. I consider my major accomplishments the relationships formed with clients who have returned time and again through different stages of life.
My education in interior design was accomplished at Harrington College of Design and I am certified as an Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer through the National Kitchen and Bath Association. I am also a member of the American Society of Interior Designers and continually work on expanding my knowledge in the field of design through lectures, continuing education credits, and seminars.
