JOURNEYS | The Road Home assists individuals and families in north and northwestern suburban Cook County who are homeless or are facing homelessness. Focusing on intervention and prevention, the HOPE Day Center offers mental health support, job counseling and referrals, and help in securing housing. From October 1 through April 30, JOURNEYS | The Road Home opens 19 faith-based shelters, each providing a warm place to sleep and hot meals.
