I’m fiercely protective of our public schools because they’re foundational to our community. Our schools serve as the delivery system of many different types of care for students and families, education creates opportunities for social mobility, and the delivery of our educational services creates desirable employees while allowing parents and carers to work.
I’m running to make sure our district doesn’t waste taxpayer money. I balance our community’s demand for well-resourced facilities/programs with the importance of housing affordability.
I’m running to make sure every student and their family can access rigorous academic classes, extracurricular activities, and career development programs. I will work to keep our schools safe, voting to invest in cutting-edge protective measures and approving policies that keep our students safe and connected.
