Northwest Hwy., in Palatine has been owned by Dr. Joanne L. Carlson since October of 1999. Since then, the hospital has grown to an outstanding four doctor practice. Our goal is to provide the highest standard of veterinary care in a compassionate manner, to develop an open, honest alliance with our clients and to celebrate the human animal bond. We realize that your animal companions are beloved family members. Dr. Carlson graduated with honors from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She did her externship and fellowship with Lincoln Park Zoo. Has served as the DuPage County Animal Control Administrator, volunteered as the President of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association, and most recently serves as the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association's President. Currently, she is the ISVMA's Past President and continues to serve on their Board of Directors. While Dr. Carlson is the primary surgeon at the practice, Dr. Dylan Jacobs Celebrating Our SILVER ANNIVERSARY 25 YEARS Loving Care ANIMAL HOSPITAL has recently joined as an associate. Dr. Jacobs professional interests include clinical pathology, neurology, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine. Dr. Jeff Merrill serves as primary exotic doctor and Dr. Betsy North enjoys providing compassionate, quality care for all life stages, with a special interest in internal medicine and animal behavior. The practice hopes for another 20 years and would like to thank all our current clients that have made these past 25 years possible.
