ST. THERESA CATHOLIC CHURCH | ADVENT & CHRISTMAS 2024 455 North Benton Street, Palatine, IL 60067 | 847-358-7760 | www.sttheresachurch.org Dear Friends, As we prepare for and celebrate Christmas, I ask that you take a few moments and reflect on the words of St. Luke from the Christmas Midnight Mass: The angel said to them, "Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger." And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying: "Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests." Lk 2: 10-14 In the midst of the darkness and chill of winter, Christmas is a season of joy and celebration. It is a season of peace and good will. On behalf of everyone who serves St. Theresa Parish, I want to express my sincerest wish for a Merry and Peace-filled Christmas! May God bless us, everyone! Love, Fr.
