WOODSTOCK FOLK FESTIVAL, INC. (WFF) is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization based in Woodstock, Illinois, 47 miles northwest of Chicago. Its purpose is to bring quality folk music – local, national, and international – to Northern Illinois.
To this end WFF sponsors a day-long summer Festival on historic Woodstock Square on the third Sunday of July each year as well as some concerts. Woodstock is one of the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Distinctive Destinations; it was the film location for the movie Groundhog Day.
