This year, sixteen applications were received from ten employers. The Chamber's Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce that scholarships are being awarded to the following students: Marina Orrico, daughter of John and Maureen Orrico. Marina will be attending Elmhurst College and wants to pursue a degree in Medicine as a Pediatric Cardiologist. John Orrico is employed at Alltech HVAC, Inc. Samantha Parcell, daughter of Jeff and Denise Parcell. Samantha will be attending Elmhurst College and wants to pursue a degree in Special Education. Jeff Parcell is employed at Anderson Lock Company. Jillian Valente, daughter of Gary and Carol Valente. Jillian will be attending the University of Dayton and wants to pursue a degree in Education. Gary Valente is employed at the Des Plaines Public Library.
