Public Meeting for the Kirk Road Bridge Project The Kane County Division of Transportation (KDOT) is conducting a Public Meeting to provide an overview of the Kirk Road Bridge Preliminary Engineering and Environmental (Phase I) Study and to present the preliminary Preferred Alternative. The purpose of the meeting is to seek public input on the proposed improvements for Kirk Road from Cherry Lane on the south to llinois Route 38 on the north. Included in this study was an in-depth review of the existing and future bicycle and pedestrian connectivity, noise analysis and associated impacts to the environment.
