NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON LAND USE ASSUMPTIONS RELATING TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF A COMPREHENSIVE ROAD IMPROVEMENT PLAN AND IMPOSITION OF IMPACT FEES A public hearing shall be held on November 18, 2025, commencing at 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Kane County Government Center, in the Auditorium of Building A, located at 719 South Batavia Avenue, Geneva, Illinois. The purpose of this hearing is to consider the proposed land use assumptions within the service areas described below that will be used to develop an updated comprehensive road improvement plan. The service areas within Kane County that are being affected by the proposed land use assumptions are three (3) areas, the boundaries of which are determined by two lines which are (1) the entire length of the CC&P Railroad right of way from where it intersects with the east county line (at its intersection with Dunham Road) northwesterly to the west county line and (2) the entire length of the Fabyan Parkway from where it begins at the east county line to its intersection with Main Street Road then from said intersection southwesterly on Main Street Road to the west county line. The boundary lines trisect Kane County into a North Service Area, a Central Service Area and a South Service Area. The County of Kane shall make available to the public upon request the following: proposed land use assumptions, an easily understandable and detailed map of the service areas to which the land use assumptions shall apply, along with all other available information relating to the proposed land use assumptions. Any member of the public affected by the proposed land use assumptions shall have the right to appear at the public hearing and present evidence in support of or against the proposed land use assumptions.
