BOOMERS PLAYER SPOTLIGHT HAMBLETON OLIVER COLE STALLINGS DANIEL PARET 28 28 Oliver made 17 appearances out of the bullpen in his first year as a professional for the Boomers in 2024, sporting a 2.96 ERA over 24.1 innings following the completion of his college career at West Virginia University. Oliver struck out 20 batters and tabulated a 1-3 record. The righty appeared in nearly 100 games in college and worked a scoreless outing in 12 of his efforts while appearing for longer than an inning on five occasions. Oliver helped West Virginia reach the NCAA Super Regional, pitching twice in postseason play. FEEL THE BOOM WINTRUST Signed to first professional contract by the Boomers in July out of Stetson University, Stallings did not allow a run in his first 9.2 innings of work and returns to the club for a second season in 2025. Stallings finished 3-0 with a 3.79 ERA over 19 innings, striking out 15 batters. His first professional strikeout came as a result of a pitch clock violation. Stallings was the closer at Stetson, a team that won 41 games and reached the NCAA Regional after winning the Atlantic Sun. Stallings saved 11 games in 2024, eighth most in program history. Boo P Paret enters his second year with the Boomers in 2025 after joining the team out of Stetson University. A lefty, Paret started three games for the Boomers in 2024 before suffering a season ending injury. Paret worked 8.1 innings. A teammate of Cole Stallings at Stetson, Paret capped his college career by making 14 starts as a weekend starter for a team that won the Atlantic Sun and played in the NCAA Regionals. The Atlantic Sun Freshman of the Year in 2019 became the first freshman ever at Stetson to surpass 100 strikeouts in a season and was selected to the Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American team.
