As we move further in levels of schools, at some point, we introduce students to chemistry and other scientific subjects. They are not easy. They require systemic study, understanding of many rules and principles, connecting the dots, and experimenting. Not all teachers clearly explain to students that science is never done. It is dynamic. What we know today will change tomorrow. But, as often happens, without what we have today, tomorrow might be impossible. There is a dangerous trend to call scientists out for 'lies. That includes doctors-scientists. Many people feel that doctors have power and should have all the knowledge to cure all illnesses. To prevent all medical troubles. Nothing is further from the truth. Doctors study medicine based on what was discovered 'yesterday. Many of them stay at that level for the entire time they practice. Some become more active collecting Continuing Medical Education units, needed for renewal of their license every 3 years. But there is no medical knowledge examination in order to renew your license. We all trust that they maintain their fresh knowledge in the field, and we follow their directions. The real science troopers will continue learning and teaching. Medicine offers thousands of additional and updated courses, studies, clinical trials, and books to keep your skills updated. Real troopers are not afraid to admit that 'yesterday' was an error and the field changed the way of treatment, based on the new findings. This is how we create progress.
