GENEVAHET Get ready to dance in the streets of downtown Geneva with a longtime midsummer tradition featuring food entertainment, a carnival and endless fun for all ages. UMUM Seedish Days returns to downtown Geneva June 21-25, featuring something for everyone. Live music and entertainment will keep Central Stage, sponsored by Gerald Subaru of North Aurora, hopping from Wednesday through Saturday of the festival. Swedish Days, where the Geneva Chamber of Commerce showcases the history and traditions of Genevas Swedish roots, is set for June 21-25. Now in its 73rd year, the festival will kick off Wednesday, June 21, with strolling musicians playing the music of Sweden while dressed in traditional Swedish colors. A variety of exhibitions are planned. including a Viking Ship tour with the Geneva Historical Society. The celebration also includes a Craft Beer Tent and live music, a Kids' Day and select local restaurants and shops offering specials throughout the event. Highlights of the festival also include a parade, Settlers Breakfast, Dodgeball Toumament and 5K. "Swedish Days is a place where you're going to see friends," said Laura Rush, Communications Director for the Geneva Chamber of Commerce.
